Veterinary Check-Ups

Felix Lap Puppies Home guarantees you that all our Havanese and Pekingese puppies, are free of all disease and illness for a period of 14 days (2 weeks) from the date of sale. You have 72 hours (3 days) to bring the puppy to your vet to make sure for yourself the puppy is healthy. If your vet thinks there is something wrong with the puppy (health/genetically) we have the right to take the puppy to our vet to make sure this is accurate. If the puppy has something wrong with it you have 24 hours to notify us. You must have a vet document stating what is wrong with the puppy. If the puppy comes back to us for any reason unrelated to health or genetics you will not be refunded.
GUARANTEE & RETURN -Your puppy will come with a 1 year Genetic Health Guarantee, expires 1 year from the date of sale. This guarantee does not cover accidental deaths, parvo, broken bones, and death from hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) which is preventable. Should your puppy die within the 1 year Guarantee (WITH) proof from your vet and confirmed by my vet that the puppy died from a genetic illness you will have the option of a full cash refund or replacement puppy of equal value and gender, this refund does not include "vet costs" purchase price only or replacement puppy.
Refund or replacement of a puppy is in the case of death only! Should your puppy have a serious life altering genetic illness that does not cause death, you will have the option to return the dog/puppy back to us and we will care for the puppy or you can keep the puppy; with the option of half of a refund (WITH) written diagnosis from your vet & confirmed by my vet. In my years of raising Teacup pups I have not had one sick puppy returned, pass away from illness and have not had any complaints. I strive to produce only healthy and quality puppies. we 100% stand behind our guarantee as we want our puppies and their new families to have the best start together! This puppy/dog is not sold with the guarantee of being show quality, against overbites, under bites, patella issues, hernias, trachea issues or with the guarantee of being breed able at the age of maturity. Breeder can only estimate adult weight, size, color etc.
Undescended testicles are covered I need to be informed within the 1 year guarantee if testicles have not dropped. In such a case you will have the following options; A: I can take the puppy back and refund you the full amount. B: Take the puppy back and replace him from a future breeding with a puppy of equal value and gender. (if B is chosen you will need to cover shipping costs if needed). C: You can keep him and I will refund you the difference between his pet price and breeding/show price. Will need to be neutered within 1 months’ time, proof needed. Seller/Buyers Obligations and Agreements are as follows:
Buyer shall maintain the Dog in good health with proper weight, not allowing it to become overweight at any point in time (an overweight dog is a contributing factor to hip dysplasia).
Buyer shall provide nutritional food and water to the Dog on a regular basis. Good nutrition is critical for a puppy to grow and develop properly. A proper diet consists of top-quality dog food and supplements. Buyer shall avoid dog foods that list soy and corn as ingredients.
Buyer shall keep the dog up-to-date on shots. De-worming and medical exams as needed.
Buyer shall properly exercise and groom the Dog.
Buyer shall treat the Dog as a companion, and the Dog shall live in Buyer’s house. The Dog shall NOT be LEFT in ONLY a BACK YARD or KENNEL. Buyer VOWS the Dog will become a member of the family. This is to assure proper development and maintenance of the temperament for which the animal was bred.
Buyer shall not abuse the Dog in any matter, including but not limited to by beating, mistreating or neglecting the Dog.
Buyer shall have a fenced yard, unless otherwise agreed by Sellers, and the Dog shall not be allowed to run in the community/neighborhood at large.
If the Buyer elects not to keep the Dog for any reason, ownership shall revert back to Sellers immediately. Furthermore, Buyer agrees to NEVER place the Dog in an animal shelter, rescue, pet store or puppy mill or with another person. Any transfer back to Sellers shall be accompanied with the appropriate AKC and/or registration papers, veterinarian records etc., properly endorsed. ______________ Initial Here
Buyer shall notify Sellers of any changes in the Buyer’s mailing address, phone number and/or e-mail address within thirty (30) days of any such change.
In the event that Buyer breaches any of these obligations set forth above, or does not maintain the Dog in a condition in accordance with the state and/or national Humane Society, the ownership of the Dog SHALL IMMEDIATELY REVERT to the Sellers.
